A Night with Thick & Tight
Thick & Tight are thrilled to make their debut in Poland and at Materia Prima Festival with a collection of their favourite works in A Night With Thick & Tight.
A Night With Thick & Tight is an extraordinary meeting of the audience with cult figures of pop culture; Andy Warhol, Sid Vicious, Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana. Through Thick & Tight’s distinctive combination of dance, mime, drag, satire and lip-syncing, these characters are brought back to life for one last dance.
Thick & Tight (Daniel Hay-Gordon & Eleanor Perry) are joined by three sensational soloists; Harry Alexander, Connor Scott and Edd Arnold, with designs by Tim Spooner, Pam Tait, Darren Evans and Lucy Hansom.
These works were co-commissioned by London International Mime Festival, Wilton’s Strike! Festival and Duckie, and supported by Arts Council England, The Lowry, Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre, London Performance Studios, Rambert School, Trinity Laban and Ugly Duck.
A Night With Thick & Tight for Materia Prima is showing as part of Thick & Tight’s Tits & Teeth tour; bespoke shows for UK and international venues made up of different works in the company’s repertoire.
